It’s whale watching time as the Humpbacks start to head back south on their way home to Antarctica. As they cruise past our headlands and bays, those of us lucky enough to see them may get to witness some magnificant and energetic behaviours typical of these huge marine mammals. However, there are many of us who don’t, and so this year, we’d like to help!

SPOTTING THAT WHALE at Rotary Lookout, Eden, NSW

In conjunction with National Parks and Wildlife Services (NPWS) and Wild About Whales, come and join us up at the Rotary Lookout in Eden, (top of Imlay street) where we will help you to spot, locate, see and indentify whales as they make their way home.

Our mobile whale watching exhibit comprises of several sets of binoculars, ID and information sheets, books and a range of supporting information about whales, marine life and the local area. Let us help you to see the different types of whales and recognise some of their energetic behaviours such as  tail slapping, pec slapping and breaching.

This is an outdoor activity and is FREE to join. Rotary lookout has  public picnic, bbq and toilet facilities, plenty of parking and a playground for the kids.

Visit us from 10am to 12pm each Tuesday and Wednesday during the months of September and October – weather permitting
