SPOT THAT WHALE – mobile exhibit Spring School Holidays ONLY
It’s whale watching season and in conjunction with NPWS, we would like to invite you to come join us up at the Rotary Lookout in Eden, (top of Imlay street) for a spot of land-based whale watching. Let us help you to look-for, spot, locate, find, SEE and identify whales as they head back south, home to Antarctica.
Our mobile whale watching exhibit comprises binoculars, ID sheets, information, books and a range of supporting information about whales, marine life and the local area. Let us help you to see the different types of whales and recognise some of their energetic behaviours such as tail slapping, pec slapping and breaching. This is an outdoor activity and is FREE to join.
Visit us from 9:30am – 11:30am during September and October
(weather dependant)
