May seems to be the month of science in the wild and SCMDC is getting into the swing of it.
If you are interested in being a scientist for a day and collect data for online databases then there are 2 events coming up for you to get involved with.
May 16 and 17- Panboola Bioblitz
Join researchers on surveys of the environment around the Panboola wetlands. Discover birds, reptiles and sea-life (Pambula Beach). A fun educational day out.
For more information download the Panboola Bioblitz poster
May 28 – Oceans Connected Launch Event
We will conduct simultaneous surveys at SCMDC and a marine centre in the UK and have a live Skype catch up to swap notes. Come along to take part in some ClimateWatch marine surveys, hear about the program and meet the UK team!
