    SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES CALENDAR

COME JOIN US AT THE DISCOVERY CENTRE

    SATURDAY 22nd AUGUST
    10am to 2pm
    Science Week Event
    THE ID CROWD

Bring in that mysterious item you found down the beach and would love to have it identified by one or more of our experts. It could be the item itself, or perhaps you have a photo of it? It could be a rock, a fossil, a feather or bone, a bit of skeleton, a shell, some seaweed…whatever you have, bring it down and meet our ID CROWD and see if we can help you work out what it is.

The ID Crowd features experts from NPWS, Dive Eden, Bournda Environmental Education, Atlas on the Coastal Wilderness, BVSC, Fisheries, Dr Anne Felton – marine geologist and Sheree Epe – Marine Biologist, plus members of Eden’s Wheel Cove Little Penguin project.

There will be a shorebirds and penguin talk on at 11am and 1pm – seats are limited so it’s first in best dressed.

This is a FREE EVENT as part of the National Science Week initiative and made possible with funding from Australian Government
