Our names are Bradley Chalker and Jonathon Bray. We are currently in year 10 at Eden Marine High school, we chose to do work experience at  the Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre because we thought it would be interesting to learn more about marine life and marine culture and their beauties and importance to the climate.

DSC_0403Over the past week we have learnt a lot of cool and interesting facts about different marine life such as how to tell a male octopus from a female octopus and the wing span of an albatross and a manta ray.

We did other interesting things like collecting new species for the tanks and we got to feed the fish and the octopus. We have had loads of fun working for the Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre over the past week and we recommend it for anyone that is looking for a fun and interesting volunteering experience.
