We were very excited to learn we had received another Mumbulla Foundation Grant, which will enable us to purchase a new MicroEYE microscope and projector.  We purchased our first MicroEYE through a Marine Discovery Centres Australia Grant (FRDC) and it has been so popular we decided we needed another.

MicroEYE microscopes are user friendly for almost any age, with only 2 moving parts for focusing and zooming and the image is projected onto a big screen so all can see.  Children and adults love to find specimens in the Centre and examine them closely under the microscope. The new MicroEYE will be more advanced than our first, with a polariser and rotating turntable so we can examine live specimens in water.
